Lockdown once again. New Zealand is back at Level 4 while we tackle the delta variant of Covid-19. Which means we are all dealing with working at home, isolating and not having the ability to go and enjoy our beautiful country.
We've put together a mini playlist of jams to provide a soundtrack for your baking, gardening and whatever else you choose to do in the house during lockdown.
Brandy - "Sittin Up In My Room"
Yup, lockdown is a lot of sitting around. Sitting around working, sitting around playing games, sitting around watching Netflix... simply sitting.
Bruno Mars - "The Lazy Song"
It's hard to be motivated all the time, especially when your routine changes. It's easy in lockdown to get that not wanting to do anything feeling.
Xscape - "Just Kickin It"
With less responsibilities and outside engagements it's definitely a good time to just chill and kick it with your mates, as long as they are the mates in your bubble...
Tamia - "Imagination"
Lockdown certainly can provide the quiet time to just let your mind wander and be free. Get reacquainted with your imagination.
Kedus - "Sunset Dream"
Like our last highlight we can certainly enjoy the slower moments in life. We're not ripping and running around, you can take a moment to breathe in some fresh air, and enjoy the view from your own doorstep.
Lionel Richie - "Dancing On The Ceiling"
Level 4 is certainly a serious thing as we come together to deal with Covid. But that doesn't mean we can't have any fun. Just need to turn up some tunes and have an indoor dance party sometimes, whether its a quick break while your doing work or simply just releasing some stress.
Ciara - "1, 2 Step"
We certainly miss the gym and our fitness classes. You certainly don't want the kgs to pile on while stuck at home so here's a reminder to get out and take a walk during the days.
T-Pain - "Bartender"
We've seen the contents of some of your trolleys while in Countdown and New World. No shame from us just share your favourite recipe or brew with us!
Silk - "Meeting In My Bedroom"
There is a reason #QuarantineBabies was a trending topic during lockdown in 2020....
Mark Morrison - "Return of the Mack"
No matter how it feels now we know lockdown/level 4 won't last forever... here's a little hope for the brighter days ahead especially as winter ends
Just a little sampling of our Lockdown Jams to give you a taste of the experience. You can get into the full curation which features Michael Jackson, Will Smith, Bobby Brown and more below:
