    A couple weeks ago Soulja Boy proclaimed that a Verzuz between him and Bow Wow was official. Many on social media questioned whether this was true in excitement and others questioned why. 

    Verzuz has recently tweeted out its upcoming schedule and it has confirmed that a showdown between Soulja Boy and Bow Wow will take place:

    For us here at the Rhythm the real highlight of the announcement is an undisclosed showdown that is in partnership with Essence. Eve and Trina should be a good match as well which kind of makes the Bow/Boy matchup our 3rd favourite in this announcement. 

    These upcoming matchups def put us in the mindset of the early 2000s so def check out this playlist for hits from that era!
