The sister duo Chloe x Halle graced the NPR series Tiny Desk this week. During their 20-minute set they performed a variety of songs from their latest release “Ungodly Hour”.
While 2020 hasn’t been easy on artists the sister duo has found breakout space with a plethora of high quality “backyard” performances that have been featured on a multitude of talk and award shows.
Before singing their song “Baby Girl” the Beyoncé proteges shared an uplifting message with their fans. “I know this year 2020 has been absolutely bonkers for all of us, and for those moments where you kind of feel less than or you’re not good enough, that’s why we wrote this song,” said Chloe. “For ourselves as a mantra to let us know that whatever happens, we’ll be Ok. This is our world.”
Chloe x Halle will be honoured with the Rising Star Award at Billboard’s Women in Music event on Dec 11th.
