    2022 will mark the 40th anniversary of the debut self-titled album for the one and only Janet Jackson. With the revisits and celebrations surely to come with such a milestone there will also be a new documentary centered on the icon to coincide with the anniversary as well. 

    The retrospective doc titled JANET is being produced by Workerbee and Associated Entertainment Corporation, and being directed by Ben Hirsch. Ms Jackson and Randy Jackson are on board as executive producers. 

    JANET has been in the making for 3 years. The anticipated doc will included never-before-seen home videos and star-studded interviews from those closest to the star. It is descried as "intimate, honest, and unfiltered." The doc will touch on career and life defining moments, such as the Super Bowl XXXVIII debacle with Justin Timberlake and the death of her iconic brother Michael Jackson.
