    Mahalia has a new single out today featuring rising rapper AJ Tracey in "Roadside." It follows her hot release "Whenever You're Ready" from earlier this year. "Roadside" is also produced by British duo The Elements. 

    The song is all about a woman recapturing her strength from dealing with a unworthy partner in a relationship. An accompanying video sees Mahalia and AJ Tracey running a burger van teaching those heartbreakers a lesson and leaving them on the 'roadside'.

    "I've kinda been excited about releasing this one since I started writing it." says Mahalia of the song. "Fresh out of a breakup, I made this one with The Elements and two of my favourite girls and songwriters. We had so much fun writing and making this together. Getting AJ on it was the cherry on top for me. I've wanted to work with him forever and I was so happy that it could be on this tune. I hope you love it!"

    "Roadside" is solid contemporary example of the magic that is created when R&B features a Hip Hop verse that works within the song. Press play on the track below!
