On 22nd April 1996, a relatively unknown Mark Morrison took the world by storm and released his debut album Return of the Mack which was also largely self-produced.
The lead single would go on to become one of the biggest songs of the 90's and is arguably to us is certainly in the conversation around best R&B songs of ALL TIME. It went platinum in New Zealand and topped the charts in the UK, across Europe and hit number two on the US Billboard Hot 100.
"Crazy (Remix)" and "Trippin" also entered our official Top 40 Singles chart peaking at #22 and #39 respectively. New Zealand and the UK were the only countries in the world to have three Top 40 songs from the album.
In celebration of it's 25th anniversary the album will be reissued in coloured vinyl, a 70-track digital deluxe version featuring 40 previously unavailable remixes and rare versions. All the videos for each of the albums 6 singles will be restored and released on his official YouTube channel.
