Megan Thee Stallion's latest release Flamin’ Hottie puts a new spin on Salt-N-Pepa’s classic bop Push It.
Produced by OG Parker and mixed and mastered by Mike Dean, Megan created Flamin Hottie to promote Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and Flamin’ Hot Doritos. And this might be the most lit jingle of all time.
The rap star makes several references to the spicy snacks, including : “Know I’m all that and a bag of flamin’ hot chips,” and “Just like Cheetos on your fingers, wanna suck me.” The Cheetos mascot Chester Cheetah even gets name dropped: “This cat talk back like Chester.”
Megan Thee Stallion has scored her first Super Bowl commercial, pushing Flamin’ Hot Cheetos & Doritos. In the ad, she plays a hummingbird who sings Push It. Aahh.
The full commercial is set to premiere on Feb 14 at the Superbowl. There's also a golden teaser campaign that parodies Megan arriving on set.
Speaking to Billboard on her decision to star in the ad, Megan said “I am the Hot Girl Coach. I am Miss Flamin’ Hottie. I mean, I am all things hot. So I feel like it was very necessary for the Hot Cheeto and the Hot Girl to get together.”
