Today marks the 10 year anniversary since rapper/singer Nate Dogg died of heart failure at the age of 41.
A west coast staple Nate Dogg was known as the "King of Hooks" due to the vocals he provided on a variety of hit tracks in the late 90s and 00s.
In 1994 he partnered p with Warren G for the song "Regulate" which would peak at #5 on the New Zealand Top 40.
Nate Dogg would see his highest charting NZ hit in 1996 with his single "Never Leave Me Alone" which peaked at #2.
Other songs that featured Nate Dogg on the chorus which found chart success in New Zealand include Ludacris "Area Codes," 50 Cent "21 Questions," and Houston "I Like That."
