Ever since Trevor Jackson popped up on the scene in the early 2010's fans have been clamoring for a debut album. And while Jackson produced material in the forms of mixtapes and EPs for a decade in-between a variety of acting gigs a debut album was yet to be found. Well Jackson has finally awarded his fans with the gift of a full studio album titled The Love Language.
Back in 2015 he stated he was looking for his debut to serve as a cohesive unit, "to make an album that is not just a bunch of singles, but an album that can be listened to from top to bottom."
The Love Language certainly accomplishes his goal. The 14-song record runs through his experience with love, from being stuck in the friendzone ("Just Friends") to being vindictive to gain someone's attention ("Get to You").
"Love is the universal language of all things, and I hope this album gives people more confidence to understand their own love languages and how to communicate them. The power of this music will not only bring people together, but it'll also bring people closer to themselves." says Jackson.
